New Moon Movie Review

Well, where do I start?

Okay, so this is going to remain spoiler free, just for those who havent watched the moive yet, cause im kind like that :)

Right so first of, it remained EXTREMELY true to the books. Unlike in twilight, where they missed a few key scenes (such as the blood typing) this missed nothing. I mean obviously it missed stuff, but every important scene was there.

Second of all, the colours. Well, it wasnt that hard to get better than the blue tint in the first film. The gold etc fited perfectly, it looked so much grander, and expensive.
The sets were amazing, and exactly how you would picture them in the book.
The SPARKLES. OMEEEEEEEEE! they were freaking awesome, unlike the ones in the first film, where you had to squint to see them.
The costumes, hair, makeup, wigs etc looked way better, they were just fantastic.
The meadow was a vast improvement as well.

The Acting was amazing. You could feel every emotion from start to finish. It was completely believeable and captivating. Taylor Lautner did an amazing Job, he heald the movie really really well. . Kristen conveyed the pain, heartbreak, happiness, everything perfectly . And Rob, well, he was just spectacular. Even though he left, you can feel his presense throughout the entire movie. He also managed to make me cry on several occasions, one of which was so moving and im not going to spoil it.
They couldnt have got a better cast if they tried.

The CGI was um-may-zing. The wolves were so lifelike, and you can feel the ground actually shake when they come on. Its awesome.
As i mentioned before, the sparkles are awesome, so so soooo much better than the first one.
All the CGI was great.

The bad part?
I did not want it to end. I was so captivated and moved, I was glued to the screen the whole way through. Its a definate must. Even guys would like this flm, and even people who dont like twilght would like this film.
Another letdown - They didn't put the Remember Me trailer on. Instead they decided to put on 5 billion tv adverts. I was rather fucked off about that.
Also, some of the wolf-packs 6packs were a bit... meh. They looked like 5 year old boys.
Taylor, Chaske and mabye Alex Meraz's were the only good ones.
Other than that, I can not seriously think of one thing wrong with the movie. At all.

My favourite scene - I actually have a few, some i can't mention because of spoilers.
Volterra was definately a standout. When they reuinted, it was magical. The fighting was awesome. Dakota fanning was amazing, and for the Volturi - Team Aro ;)

The whole thing was just incredible and if you havent seen it already, get yo butt in one of those cinema chairs now.
Anyone who has give NM a bad review - shove it up yo ass, cause that was one HELL of a movie.

The Robsten Fairytale

(disclaimer: this is an eggageration)

Once upon a time, there lived two unbelievable gorgeous people called Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. At the time Kristen Stewart was going out with Micheal-munter-Angarano

(for those that dont know what munter means here is a brief explanation: unatractive/ugly/hideous)

One day, these two people got a call saying they would be in a movie called Twilight. They were so happy, they could not help but jump for joy.

They flimed Twilight for somewhat months. During these months, they became very close friends, due to the unbelieavable ammount of chemistry they had.

Rob loved Kristen alot so whenever Rob saw Kristen with Mike, he became jelous, so much so, he would cry himself to sleep every night. He would look at a picture of Kristen in his locket every night, and kiss it tenderly before proceeding to cry himself to sleep.

Kristen also had very deep feelings for Rob. Whenever she made love to her boyfriend, she would picture his face. (then again who does not?)

Kristen would take mike to all of the twilight events. This made Rob even more jelous.

A few months passed, and rob and Kristen were reunited to film new moon.

This time around, Mike was there on fewer occasions. Rob liked this. This meant that he could captivate Kristen under his delicious spell, that had us all in a trance every time we cast eyes upon him.

One day, when filming, Kristen pulled Rob aside.

'Rob,' she began, 'I know how you feel'

'You do?'

'And I have something to tell you.'

'Yes?'

'I'm sorry but I have a boyfriend.'

Kristen then walked of.

'What the fuck.,' Rob exclaimed, 'Thats not how the fairytale is supposed to go!'

A few Months past, and by this time New Moon had finished filming, and Rob and Kris had gone their seperate ways to film their movies.

They were sad. They were missing eachother terribly. They were texting eachother daily, but it just wasnt the same.

One day, when filming the Runaways, KStew had a revelation.

She dialed a number on her phone and let destiny decide her fate.

Again, a month passed, and Rob and Kris were reunited at Comic Con 09.

It was the first time they had seen eachother since departing for their own films.

They gave eachother a huge hug and everything seemed just right.

They went ahead and did the Comic con interview. Some people asked about their ofscreen relationship, but the questions were shut down. (if they do this to Ryan Secrest, man someones gonna get an Ass Kick)

Afterwards, Kristen approched Rob in private.

'Rob, er, I have something to tell you.'

'Yes?'

'Mike and I are engaged.'

Kristen then walked of.

'Oh my god, this is even worse than I thought.'

Soon, Eclipse was going to begin filming.

Maybe things will have changed by then, Rob wished.

The first day of shooting, Kris took Rob off in private.

'Rob I have something to tell you.'

'Yes?'

'Well, Mike and I aren't engaged any more. He was cheating on me with Emilie de Raven'

'Oh! I mean, aww, I'm so sorry for you Kris.'

'Don't be.'

'Huh.'

'Well, now that means that I can do this.'

Kris placed her hand on Rob's chest.

'And...'

'And this.'

Kris pulled herself in tight to Rob.

'And...'

'And this...'

Kris placed her lips on Robs, and rob put his arms around Kris as they continued blissfully into the morning...

And just like Snow White and Prince Charming, so began the fairytale of Robsten.

And what a fuckhot couple they really, and truly are...

What a year...

So as our year of New Moon madness draws to a close, I can't help but think about what an amazing time I've had.

Especially with everyone one Twitter.

And whilst we are on the subject of twitter, I want to thank all of my followers and all of the tweeps out there for making this year what it has been! I've met some amazing people, and I wouldn't give up any of them for the world.

Who can forget when these came out, and we were all in awe that Rob actually had a six pack- just another thing to add to his many, mnay many, many (okay you get it) qualities.

Ahh, the sacred V... And that fiery kiss....

MTV Movie Awards
basically, the Twilight awards. They took away 6 out of a possible 7 (Paramoe should have won over pissing Miley Cyrus...) including Best breakthrough male, best female performance, best movie and Best Kiss...

The Moment we all heald our breaths as we watched in anticipation... only to be cut off my Kristen saying 'Thankyou so much.' Ah well, theres always next year...

The MTV movie awards was also the first ever time we got a look at new moon. We even got to see the wolf transformation, which was pretty freaking awesome.

Sidenote: MTV Rob was fuckhawt.

Teen Choice Awards
Another twilight awards party. They were nominated for 12 awards and won 11. I need say no more on the matter.
Anyways...Rob won male hottie, best actor in a drama and about a billion others. KStew won best actress, and again they won best 'liplock'.

Sidenote: Surfboards for an award? Where the fuck are you supposed to put that?

Another Sidenote: Teen Choice was the night where Kristen wore the 'Spiky Skirt', which caused some controversy. It also promted her to say one of the best lines ever in an interview; 'Spiky Skirt, they were bullets Mofo!' Reason #1000000 why we love KStew.

MTV Music Video Awards
Here, we get yet another glimpse at new moon, thought we'd probably already seen it leaked by the time it was aired...

Sidenote : KStew Looked gorgeous, Taylor looked dashing, and Rob looked scruffilicious!

It really looks like Taylor shouldn't be there, or rather, neither of them realise he is there. They are having a robsten moment. They look stunning together thats for sure.

Eclipse

When news hit that Rachelle had been replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard (who?) as Victoria, it spread like wildfire. And Twi fans all over the internet/Twitter went into shcok, joining numerous facebook groups, signing many petitions and writing many letters to suck- i mean summit. But it was not to be. But rachelle will never be forgotten and i know i speak for myself, if not a many, in saying Rachelle is the one and only Victoria.

Eclipse began shooting, and us tweeters got regualr updates from director david slade and an occasional pic or two. We know he will have done an amazing job, and can fully bring the action needed!

Eclipse finished shooting barely a few weeks ago. Seems like it only just started shooting!!

Sidenote: Though david will have done an amazing job im sure, im still Team Chris for Breaking Dawn.

Harpers Bazzar Shoot/Rob VF

Dont really have much to say here, except HOLY HOT HELL!

These were some gorgeous ass shoots.

Well, a girl can dream, can't she?

And so we come to...

New Moon Promotional Tour

What a whirlwind this has been!

I think it's literally been around the world in 7 days.

But none the less, its so worth it, for the fans and the actors. They get to see their loyal fans, and how much support they have and really they couldn't ask for more. (well except for people not to cry around them...)

Sidenote: Here is where we come across Scruffilicious Rob again. I am loving that stubble he's got going on. Tres Sexy.

Another sidenote: I am bowing down to whoever came up with the word scruffilicious. It describes rob down to a T.

Holding Hands in Paris (oh how fitting! ;D)

Robsten were caught arm in arm/hand in hand/hand on thumb - whatever you wanna call it.

But whatever that was, or whatever they are, they both looked amazingly happy, and Rob smile could have stretched around the world. This is the reason we all loved the photos so much.

And Finally...

New Moon Premiere!

I have to say, Kristen outshone any other girl that was there. She looked simply stunning. Perfect even. Taylor was his usual Dashing self, and Rob was just Rob. I dont even need to put him into words for people to understand.

So that was the hilights of a years worth of New Moon. And I enjoyed every second of it.

I hope you all enjoy New Moon, and have an amazing time watching it :)

I seriously love all of you, thanks for this amazing time!
